Handy maintenance person is required in our Puddle Jumpers Inc. The job is to assist at our offices with our maintenance jobs which would cover, among other things, routine upkeep of the garden and shed, small odd projects, touch-up painting, simple plumbing, and/or manual labour.
As a volunteer food hub assistant, you will support the daily operations of our organization's food hub in providing nutritious food to community members in need. Your assistance is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the food hub, from processing donations to organizing distribution and everything in between.
As a volunteer cook for a food hub, you will play a vital role in preparing meals and food items for distribution to community members in need. Your culinary skills and passion for cooking will help create nutritious and delicious meals that nourish individuals and families in our community.
Craft volunteers are responsible for assisting with various creative projects and activities at our organization. This may include helping with arts and crafts workshops, creating handmade items for events or fundraising purposes, or simply providing creative input and support for our programs.
The Volunteer Driver Assistant will support the primary driver in transporting goods, supplies, or individuals to various locations as needed.
Sunday Markets Volunteers will assist with the setup, operation, and cleanup of the market to ensure a smooth and successful event for vendors and visitors.
The Volunteer Food Collector will be responsible for collecting food donations from various sources and distributing them to those in need within the community.

The assistant should ensure children attending the playgroup have the best start in life by providing a safe, welcoming, high quality, inclusive early education environment. He/she will support the playgroup leader in the day to day overseeing of the playgroup, providing a stimulating and varied programmes of play and ensuring the social development of the children at Puddle Jumpers.
• The role of a mentor is to ensure that the participants on camp enjoy themselves in a safe environment • A mentor should be willing to jump in and help where/when-ever needed • Offers appropriate affirmations to participants and fellow mentors • Is willing to step outside their comfort zone/do tasks you would not usually do. Eg. Play a sport you don’t really enjoy, sing camp songs, act a little childish, all in the name of FUN!!
Drive a shower truck over designated routes in accordance with time schedules; to pick up and drop off staff/ Volunteers and participants in a safe and efficient manner. The Driver is responsible, along with the Food Hub Manager, for seeing to it that the shower truck is kept in good operating order. The driver must be a responsible person with a clean driving record and current Australian shower truck driver’s license.
The cook sets the tone for the kitchen. The kitchen is considered an important area in the camp, one which can add to the nurturing of campers in a substantial fashion. The Cook should be capable of setting a structure for the kitchen’s operation that is safe and efficient, while remaining a warm and welcoming place. The Cook/s is responsible for the efficient operation of the kitchen and delivery of meals. To ensure food handling procedures and Health & Safety are met at all times.•

A Warehouse Assistant supports the organisation by overseeing operational duties in the remit of ‘transport and logistics’. This could mean scanning materials as they arrive or leave the warehouse to maintain stock level records, moving items around from point A to B. Just assisting with the day-to-day running of a storage or logistics warehouse.
The role of family support volunteer is to ensure that children are entertained in safe environment before and after camp.
