This volunteer role is all about retail sales. Are you passionate about meeting new people and delivering excellent customer service? Do you wish to learn about retail selling, pricing and shop presentation? Our Op Shop offers all of this and more. Do you love to Op Shop? Do you have a few spare hours a week to work in our sparkling new shop which will be opening early September 2022? Learn what really goes on behind the scenes - we receive a huge variety of items every day. From shop displays, pricing and customer service, you will be contributing to a great cause that supports palliative care and end-of-life care on the Sunshine Coast.

You will be driving our manual utility (ute) and automatic FUSO truck (open licence required) to pick up donated goods from the community, deliver goods to customer’s homes, deliver/pickup stock to/from our other Op Shops, take rubbish and unsaleable items to the local tip, load/unload the ute/truck as well as other related tasks.

We receive many and varied donations on a daily basis. The role encompasses sorting these donated items and pricing them suitable for sale in the shop. Persons with a disability are welcome to apply if they can meet the position requirements.
