    Special Olympics Melbourne Inner East (MIE)

    The Melbourne Inner East (MIE) Special Olympics club hosts professionally coached, fortnightly Sunday afternoon Athletics training, which welcomes registered Special Olympics athletes, as well as those who are interested in joining Special Olympics and wish to 'come and try'. This program is for all-abilities and adapted for individuals with an intellectual disability. We are looking for volunteers who can work under the direction of the head coach to support training drills etc.

    Special Olympics Melbourne Inner East (MIE)

    Our Ten Pin Bowling program has over 100 registered athletes and approximately 80-90 bowl who regularly at our monthly bowling session. Our bowling program currently runs on the last Sunday morning of each month, in Forest Hill. We are looking for Lane Managers to work on an assigned lane and support and direct athletes when bowling.

    Special Olympics Melbourne Inner East (MIE) is seeking a new Treasurer to join our Club Leadership Team (LT). This is an exciting leadership role which provides financial oversight, empowers our club to manage it's financial affairs and advise on our funding strategy. MIE is Australia's largest Special Olympics club with over 300 athlete and volunteer members. We help people with an intellectual disability to participate in sport to enhance wellbeing, sence of purpose and community connections.
