The Women's Shed is a community project where local women can build skills and connect with others. We are looking for volunteers who can assist our facilitator and help our community learn basic woodworking skills. You will work in a team environment. In this role, you will meet interesting people and become an important part of our friendly community.
Volunteer as a mentor to help a skilled person with migrant, refugee or asylum seeking experience. Build their confidence, skills and connections on their pathway to employment in Australia. Share your knowledge of industry-relevant job search skills and Australian professional expectations. This volunteer position is supervised by the Employment Pathways Worker.
To support CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse ) women in the City of Whittlesea with confidence building and learn how to drive independently.
