Do you enjoy spending time with older people? Are you sensitive to the needs of older people, including older people from diverse backgrounds? We are looking for empathetic individuals with great communication skills to join the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme.
Would you like to contribute to providing critical assistance and crisis support to members of your community? Become a valued member of our volunteer team and help deliver these essential services to those in need. You would be using your expertise and life experience to assist people with referrals, providing information and emergency relief. You can make a difference to your community.
Are you female and over 35 and want to support a women recovering from the impact of family violence? Do you have excellent communication skills and the ability to listen and empathise? Helping women move forward with their life and connect back to the community will be one of the most rewarding things you ever do. You must Live in one of the following LGAs: Monash; Banyule; Boroondara; Whitehorse; Maroondah; Knox and Manningham?
