This volunteer role will focus on dog and puppy intakes & adoptions. and will require you to assess dogs that are being surrendered to us from the public & that our pound partners request us to take into care and manage the incoming applications from the public to adopt those dogs and puppies. You will be required to respond to adoption queries promptly and ensure home checks, vet work & all adoption paperwork is in order before authorising any dog or puppy to be adopted.

Working in a team dedicated to rescue and rehome of cats and kittens, your role will focus on new cat/kitten intakes. This requires you to assess multiple applications to take in cats and kittens which could be either found on the street or currently owned but needing a new home. You will be required to respond to queries promptly and set in motion actions to rescue and place the animals into foster care.
