    The Monsignor Hawes Heritage Centre (MHHC) is a state-of-the-art interpretive centre, within the grounds of St Francis Xavier's Cathedral, that tells the story of architect-priest Monsignor John Cyril Hawes. The Monsignor Hawes Museum Attendant will engage with visitors to help them appreciate the wonderful story of Monsignor John Cyril Hawes and to take the opportunity to visit the many places he built in the Midwest and Gascoyne region of WA.

    Become an essential part of our mission to support and uplift our community. Kitchen Hand Volunteers needed to help prepare and serve meals during School holidays on Mondays. Free lunch is provided every Monday afternoon at the Fitzgerald Community Hall at St. Lawrence Primary School in Bluff Point.

The story of this fabulous twentieth century cathedral has been published world-wide in a book listing 83 magnificent cathedrals from around the world. This beautiful cathedral is situated at 56 Cathedral Ave Geraldton (corner of Maitland St). It is open to the public from 7.00am until 5.30pm, 7 days a week, except Public Holidays when it's open from 9am.
