In 1976 (not long after the hospital opened) the RGH Auxiliary was established. The Auxiliary manage and staff Elanora’s Café and Gift Shop and run a trolley service for patients on the wards. The profits from these retail outlets are reinvested back into the hospital.
In 1976, not long after Rockingham General Hospital (RGH) opened, the RGH Auxiliary was established. The Auxiliary manage and staff Elanora’s Cafe and Gift Shop. The profits from these retail outlets are reinvested back into the hospital.
The RGH Auxiliary is an Incorporated Body which serves the Rockingham General Hospital community and manages Elanora’s Café and Gift Shop. Profits from these retail outlets are reinvested back into the hospital to fund specialised equipment and a scholarship program for staff. The RGH Auxiliary Committee is currently seeking applications for the volunteer positions of First and Second Vice Presidents to assist the President where required.
