Homies is a special Homework Club program run by the Emerald Hill Library. It offers one-on-one tutoring and mentoring for Primary School aged children, particularly those from a disadvantaged background. It's aim is to improve educational outcomes through learning assistance, provide supportive role models in its volunteers and create a positive social environment for the students.

The Emerald Hill Library is seeking volunteers to assist local High School students with their homework tasks. The High school students particularly need assistance with Maths, Science, English and various school projects. As these students progress to High School they require more advanced assistance with their homework tasks, and the Library is seeking to engage volunteers who can support these High School Students with their homework tasks.
