Darwin has a variety of unique and beautiful beaches. A new location will be surveyed each Wednesday for marine debris, which are then sorted and catalogued on the day and added to a national database (Tangaroa Blue). Sites include Rapid Creek/Nightcliff, Mindil, East Point, Buffalo Creek, Casuarina and Lee Point. With your help we can reduce debris and preserve our beaches. This project aims to help reduce and control numbers of cane toads in local areas of Darwin. House To Grow is holding the 2018 Sydney ‘Colouring Dreams’ 3 Kilometre Walk on 19 August 2018 in Cabarita Park. We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to join our team. Volunteers will be assigned to different tasks such as: welcoming participants and checking tickets, supervising children during activities, helping to serve lunch and lining the trail walk to direct participants.
