To assist in the Community Shed whilst adhering to the centres mission and vision statements. All volunteers are required to undergo a Working With Children's Check. After registration there will be an interview, induction/trial then a probationary period of one (1) month.
Appro. two days per week to undertake basic office duties such as manage roster of volunteer receptionists and tutors. Manage email and maintain registers for assets, maintenance and repairs. Identify any training required for receptionists and ensure duty list is completed, these entail items such as inventory for stationery and kitchen. Checking the daily takings and bookings to ensure adequate resources are available when needed. Experience would be an advantage. 9.00am - 4 .00pm
A mature-age volunteer is required to share their wealth of knowledge with other like minded members. One on One or class group knowledge can be shared and tutored. A high level of skill using the iPhone, iPad and Android systems is required to assist our mature age students in becoming familiar with their electronic devices.
