RABBIT RUNAWAY ORPHANAGE is a non-profit organisation and operates as an incorporated association. It is a public charity, run by a volunteer committee under Australian Law, with membership and a small dedicated group of volunteers. The Orphanage receives no government funding and is reliant on donations to prepare the rabbits for rehoming. An opportunity currently exists for suitable applicants to join us as volunteer handy person/ and driver.

Tasks include gardening, mulching, assisting with ongoing maintenance around the college, painting, and odd jobs. A love of outdoor tasks is essential, as is working well as a team and a sense of humour. All applicants will need a Blue Card and will undergo a Working With Children check. The college will assist with this process.

Conservation Volunteers are building a sustainable strategy for the management of this area and invite volunteers to be a part of this management with activities including weed removal, watering, tree trimming, track maintenance, tree planting, wildlife monitoring and surveys.
