The Ormeau school has the support of the Upper Ormeau landcare group and Boral. Join CVA as we assist this landcare group and school by carrying out weed control, tree planting and other conservation activities to help protect the natural values of this region which is home to threatened wildlife including koalas, greater gliders and quolls.
Wetlands help keep our neighborhood healthy! Cranebrook Wetlands are not only home to native wildlife, including long neck turtles, frogs and native fish, but also help filter the water for our rivers, which eventually ends up back in our homes. Help rescue a local wetland by removing invasive weeds choking out native species!

We need help with room set up, reception skills, sign in, direction giving, coffee and tea making, and generally nice to be around skills. Enjoy an information sharing day by being helpful and showing innitiative when our clients need support on the day. Uniform will require that you wear your best smile all day. Your help will be much appreciated by our MS community in Hobart and surrounds.

Heart Foundation Community Speakers deliver heart health talks to community groups and workplaces. Talk topics include nutrition, active living, warning signs of heart attack, risk factors for heart disease and life after heart attack. No previous experience required. Training and resources provided. Receive on-going support from the Community Speakers' Program Coordinator. Flexible position - Assume talks as per your availability. Aim to deliver at least 3 talks per calendar year.
