Teams provide a safe and supervised environment for young people to sober up during Leavers' Week. Full training, senior first aid certificate and on-the-job supervision is provided. Leavers is between Sunday 18th November to 23rd November 2018.
The Volunteer Tutor Scheme involves training and matching volunteer tutors with newly arrived migrants and refugees from non-English speaking backgrounds. The purpose is to provide one-on-one English tuition to students who are unable to attend classes for various reasons. The Volunteer Tutor Scheme ensures that students do not become isolated or excluded from participating in the community due to language barriers. Each volunteer is matched with an individual student.
