The Life Skills Program Assistant assists the Humanitarian Settlement Services Orientation team with logistical, administrative and event management activities at workshops and events designed to assist refugees as they settle into Australian life. Volunteers assist the team to create a welcoming environment for clients through language support and by participating, alongside clients in workshop and event activities.

Australian Multicultural Community Services (AMCS) is currently looking for Italian speaking volunteers who live in the Northern Metro and willing to volunteer in the suburbs of Brunswick, Coburg, Fairfield, Reservoir, Gladstone Park and surrounding suburbs. AMCS Volunteers visit Italian seniors who live in their own homes and are experiencing social isolation. The visits are once a week for one hour. All you need to offer is your friendship. No experience is needed
