The database records the impacts of the chemicals in the garden products and their safety for humans and the environment and rates them using a 6-star system. The products need to be re-examined by looking at information and Material Safety Data sheets provided by the manufacturers, registering the impacts on humans, wildlife and waterways and entering the information into a Microsoft Access database.
