The Awakening Festival has a policy of Zero waste and we will strive very heavily to achieve this, but unfortunately not everyone is as passionate about that as us, so we will need people to help us keep the grounds tidy and well kept, and assist others to know what should be put where, ie recycle, compostable, trash etc. The people will also be in charge of making sure that people don't run out of some of life's essentials like toilet paper.

Are you looking for a rewarding volunteer role and available 9am to 12 noon, Fridays? Do you have good communication and interpersonal skills, a happy attitude, honest and reliable? Have the ability to use own initiative and work with minimal supervision as well as work well within a team. Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft office, Word, Publisher and Outlook and looking for a rewarding volunteer role. The Receptionist/Admin role may be for you.

Gardening tasks associated with supporting the growth of Produce to the People, their valued customers, the wider community and visitors. Main Duties/Responsibilities: Water and weed vegetable gardens, Plant seedlings, Harvest produce for the food hub and/or the market. Maintain a clean and safe workplace (i.e neatly put away equipment after use; ensure garden hoses and tools are not creating a hazard for the other gardeners or visitors to the farm). Any other gardening tasks, as directed.
