The Schools Animal Ethics Committee is seeking a community member (Category D) to attend up to 8 meetings each year (twice each school term) to consider applications for teaching activities that use live animals. Members have the opportunity to support schools in using animals for low impact activities that support young people to develop respect and empathy for animals, skills in animal care and understanding of animal biology.

You will be required to match bookings and entertainers and keep the data base up dated. You will be providing figures and statistics. A high level of computer skills is desirable. 2 Days per week.
You are the captain of the event. Your role is to oversee the whole event which is a Christmas lunch provided for the lonely and homeless, and ensure it runs smoothly. This will mean making the guest feel welcome, serving lunch and running the activities according to the schedule. Share the true meaning of Christmas, empowering and enriching others.
Do you play a musical instrument and like to play your soothing music? Setting the background for the enjoyment of Patients and Visitors and Staff. Social interaction is encouraged to play requests or different styles, if able. This is instrumental music only not singing. Co-facilitate music therapy. 1 hour shift required. Not suitable to pianists as there is no piano available, roving /portability required.
