Volunteer Adult Literacy Tutors help adults from diverse backgrounds to learn to read and write. Students build confidence and literacy skills through one-to-one informal tutoring and in-class support designed to meet individual learning needs. Community Information Centre (CIC) Referral and Support Volunteers support disadvantaged people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds with a variety of needs including education, employment, health, well-being, citizenship and legal issues. Referral and Support volunteers assist community members to access appropriate professional services to meet these needs.
