Worked at Myers in the early days. May enjoy a chat over a cuppa, a game of scrabble, bingo, reading or even a stroll in her wheelchair. She prefers a female visitor for companionship visiting. Fortnightly visits for a minimum of 12 months.

Outings can include movie days, concerts, lunches, sight seeing outings and craft mornings. Bingo mornings are always fun for everyone, come along and lend a hand. You can just be reading to residents or interact with residents for companionship. Long Term 6 month minimum commitment required.
We are looking for volunteers who have an interest, understanding, or experience in relating to people with increased needs due to living with Dementia. Empathy, patience, and understanding will be of great value to any visitors to these residents.
