East Fremantle Yacht Club are seeking volunteers to assist on their Supports boats on a Saturday afternoon from 1.15pm – 4.30pm. Volunteers are not required to drive the boats but be a crew on the Support boats would help. Full training and explaining of the role would occur on the Saturday.
On My Feet is looking to welcome a team leader into our Northbridge walking group. This role will ultimately help to improve the fitness abilities of a group of individuals who are at risk of, or dealing with, homelessness in the community. Our walking groups help to improve self-worth and self-belief. They are an excellent stepping stone to help individuals back on their feet.
VGC and Surf Life Savings Clubs are working together to ensure the beaches along the Gold Coast are accessible for everyone. We want to help build local communities that are inclusive, purposeful and connected by removing the environmental and social barriers that inhibit the full inclusion and participation of people enjoying the Gold Coast beaches. Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation’s (AKKF) mission is to empower young people to thrive beyond the impacts of mental illness. Through our Programs, we offer young people (8 -18 years of age) experiencing family mental illness, the opportunity to learn and grow, while having fun, in a safe and supportive environment. We engage with young people in a recreational activity, where our young people not only have fun but also learn about mental illness, coping skills and building resilience.
Brunswick Neighbourhood House needs Volunteers to help deliver our food relief program until June 2021. We are looking for volunteers to assist with packing up and distributing food from 12:30pm-3:15pm. Volunteers will be socially distanced and PPE is provided.

Volunteers assist young people and the program coordinator at the activity. Programs may include face to face activities such as Activity Days, Camps, and virtual volunteering (Connect).
The role involves engaging with the Little Athletics NSW membership and workforce to help ensure a positive COVID-safe carnival experience - training will be provided.
