Join the team of local volunteers who monitor and operate the Marine Radio for sea rescues. Full training and ongoing support is required. If you have limited mobility and/or are in a wheelchair, the Geraldton Volunteer Marine Sea Rescue Group has a building to accommodate you, with a lift up to the second floor where you will look over one of WA's most beautiful beaches and man the systems as well as wide doorways, low wall switches and easy to reach IT systems.

Host community BBQ or events for neighbours in their street (optional) .Attend quarterly Neighbours Unite Champion meetings and promote Neighbours Unite. Safety for Seniors - Regular rostered timeslots to make phone calls to vulnerable or isolated seniors in Rockingham region to maintain contact and pass on relevant safety information.
