As a Local Coordinator, you will provide additional support to a High School Exchange student from overseas who is living with a host family and attending High School in your local community. A Local Coordinator must live within 2 hours of where a student is living. If you are interested in other cultures, young people and families, this role is perfect for you. You may have been an exchange student or host family yourself - but that is not a requirement.
The Nappy Collective supports vulnerable people in our community by redistributing much needed nappies to families in need. Our flexible volunteer program allows you the opportunity to give back to the community, without a weekly commitment. Make a real impact in your community to families in need.

Canteen relies on the assistance and support of our volunteers to help us deliver our programs for young people. We can’t run our programs without our generous volunteers. This volunteer position is essential to maintaining a secure and supportive environment where youth members can thrive and develop. This role serves as the first point of contact for membership to seek assistance with safeguarding, and collaborates on projects to promote safeguarding across the association.
The Branch Commissioner Inclusion is responsible for providing advice and support to Leaders and Unit Councils. This support could include strategies and programs to assist members to use inclusive practice in their everyday Scouting and maximise the integration of members from historically marginalised groups in the Scouting program at all levels.
The Branch Commissioner Event Support will work with event organising teams to ensure that events organised within the Youth Program portfolio are delivered at the highest quality; to ensure that the youth of the Branch are involved and engaged in every decision that relates to their Scouting experience; to advocate for young volunteers throughout the Branch; and to ensure that leadership development opportunities are provided for all youth members.
