Volunteer Visitors are needed to complement the lives of our social support programs. Spend time with small groups of clients to build friendships and help out in a range of different activities to suit your interests.
Would you like to be an assistant on a bus outing? Have fun and provide a safe environment while assisting aged clients enjoy a day out. Reasonable fitness required as you will also assist the Driver and staff with setting up and packing away walkers and trips can require some walking around.
It’s important that our participants remain connected with the community. Burnie Brae’s door-to-door transport service helps aged care clients get to the shops, appointments, activities and other events that matter to them. Our transport service accommodates people of all ages and needs, including disability access and mobility aids. This is our community transport for North Brisbane and a great opportunity for you to Volunteer.
