Thursday Girls is a program supporting women living with and dying from advanced breast cancer. The facilitator jointly (with co-facilitator) runs 3 therapeutic support groups and actively supports and engages with members outside the groups. The Facilitator will also be on the Committee, that makes decisions and guides the ongoing evolution of the organisation. This role requires approximately 11 hours a week.
Activate Mental Health is a dynamic mental health initiative that promotes the importance of community & social connection for positive mental health & wellbeing. Established in 2016 as the Perth Active Depression Support Group, the group has grown and continues to assist its members in improving their mental health through dynamic social activities.

The Queensland Program of Assistance to the Survivors of Torture and Trauma is seeking volunteers to instruct our women's group participants on the many aspects of sewing. The instructors will have the expertise, flexibility, and interpersonal skills to provide instruction to novice students while assisting participants with intermediate skills to further develop their sewing skills. The group will meet once a week for two and a half hours in the Logan area in Term 3, 2022.
