The Gold Coast Beach Parade is a world record attempt for the greatest number of people in koala-ear visors parading Burleigh Beach on Sunday, 16th of May. It’s a great opportunity to be part of an event that is helping to raise funds for the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, celebrating the Gold Coast community and showcasing our lifestyle and beaches. We are seeking volunteers to assist on the day to Register Participants to tally the number of people for the world record attempt.

Gold Coast Beach Parade is a world record attempt for the greatest number of people in koala ear visors in a beach parade. The event will take place at Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast on May 16, 2021. In this particularly difficult year, be a part of the team who are set to shine a spotlight on Queensland’s enviable lifestyle — focusing on our beaches and community spirit, while supporting a charity that is close to all of our hearts – Currumbin Wildlife Hospital and saving our city’s Koalas. This Community Garden maintains a project garden for a local Community Center. It is exclusively for flowers and they pride themselves on a colorful display of blooms. If you have a green thumb and especially want to work with flowers, this is your perfect role. A team of three people work together to plant and maintain, to provide a beautiful show of flowers. Days negotiated, the Head Gardener works Mondays 9am - 12 noon.
