Do you enjoy a festive Christmas Concert? Harvest Lakes Residents Association is looking for event volunteers to provide ground support for their Christmas Concert on 17 December 2023 at Harmony Oval in Atwell.
We are seeking additional volunteers to assist our group with watering two natural areas in Blackwell Reach Reserve over the summer months.
WA Wildlife is a wildlife veterinary hospital and wildlife rehabilitation centre. Minimum exposure to human beings ensures that the animals in care recover more swiftly, suffer less stress and are less susceptible to human conditioning and dependence. Unlike zoos, wildlife rehabilitation hospitals/centres generally offer a 'hands off' wildlife experience. Even though animal handling/interaction is very low, you will have the opportunity to help sick and injured wildlife return to the wild.
We require an enthusiastic, friendly and community-minded individual to assist at our fun and exciting events and activities at KMCC on a sessional basis. This role will involve helping with set-up, pack down, welcoming and supporting participants at our Blokes, Kid’s & a BBQ monthly group. This role would suit a male student, or male retiree who has grandchildren of his own, or else is a former educator or community worker.

Wirambi Landcare is Western Australian not-for-profit organisation focused on increasing the awareness of our unique wildlife. Much of the work we do is out in the field weeding, planting and monitoring. We have three sites in the City of Melville which are Blue Gum Lake, Booragoon Lake and Quenda Wetland where we assist the council’s bushcrew and the friends of group in caring for these reserves.

Mercy Connect engages trained volunteers, with an educational background, to provide additional support and mentoring to asylum seeker, refugee, humanitarian visa students at a critical time in their settlement in Australia. Families from asylum seeker, refugee and/or humanitarian backgrounds are supported through improving their children’s capacity to negotiate the challenges of mainstream schooling and integrate into the wider Australian community.
The Telecross Program supports the wellbeing of older Australian’s who are isolated and at risk of accident or illness that may go unnoticed. Telecross Volunteers make calls daily to support people to live independently in their own homes, providing peace of mind and reassurance.
