CHASE is a community initiative working to improve health outcomes through education and mentorship. CHASE's passion is to see young people empowered with their own health, and then engaging in their local communities to improve health awareness and outcomes through a unique understanding of health in a broader community context. Secondary students are given health education sessions by CHASE mentors through partnerships with local community organisations and health professionals. Using that knowledge, students subsequently develop their own community projects that reflect what they think are important determinants of health.
