The Waterbridge Food Co-op is a community project grant-funded by Primary Health Tasmania until June 2016.
The project aims to improve access to healthy and affordable food in the Bridgewater, Gagebrook and Herdsman’s Cove suburbs of Brighton. Activities centre around social inclusion, growing food in the Waterbridge community gardens, cooking and catering classes, a community pantry and training and education around growing, cooking and eating healthy food on a budget.
