The Animal Protection Society cares for approximately 150 cats and 30 dogs who have either been abandoned, or are unable to be kept by their owners for many and various reasons. We have a sponsorship scheme, mainly for people who are unable to keep a pet, several of the older cats and dogs are sponsored. We also have three major fund raising ventures, by the way of Annual street appeal, regular door knock collections and selling various items via the telephone.
