Established in 1989, VANISH is a not-for-profit organisation that assists adults impacted by past adoption practices, out-of-home care, and donor conception. VANISH is funded by the Department of Justice and Community Safety to provide search, support and information services within a trauma-informed, person-centred service model. With a growing membership of over 1000 people, VANISH also undertakes advocacy on behalf of individuals affected by relevant past policies and practices.
