Situated on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people, Darebin is home to a vibrant and diverse community. Our city covers 53 square kilometres of land stretching from the inner northern suburbs of Northcote and Fairfield to Reservoir and Bundoora. It is located between 5 and 15 kilometres north of Melbourne’s central business district. The City of Darebin is divided into nine single-member wards and includes the following suburbs: Alphington, Bundoora, Coburg, Fairfield, Keon Park, Kingsbury, Macleod, Northcote, Preston, Reservoir and Thornbury.
