Port Melbourne Toy Library

The Port Melbourne Toy Library is a not-for-profit organisation run by our members for our members and has been in operation for around 30 years. The Toy Library is an amazing resource available to families in the area, allowing them to borrow toys for their children from the ages of 6 months to 6 years. The toy library lends a variety of toys, including puzzles, costumes, musical instruments, baby toys, building, ride-on’s, pretend play and party packs. The Toy Library is beneficial for families as they can change toys when their children lose interest or outgrow activities, as well as reduce the hassle and worry of storing a growing collection of toys. As a result, local families are not only able save money on toys, but also contribute to protecting the environment. Volunteering for the Port Melbourne Toy Library is incredibly rewarding, and any efforts, no matter how large or small, can have a big impact on the quality and viability of our service for local families and children.
