South Australian Voluntary Euthanasia Society (SAVES)

SAVES would greatly appreciate an honorary auditor who has professional experience in accounting. Our budget is usually around $40,000.00. The South Australian Voluntary Euthanasia Society (SAVES) was established in 1983 to advocate for legal voluntary euthanasia. We are an NGO registered under South Australian law and all our activities are managed and undertaken by volunteers. SAVES works with MPs on the development of Bills and amendments and has been involved in the development of every one of the 11 Bills presented to the South Australian Parliament since the first Bill in 1995. Our activities aim to stimulate pubic debate on Ending the Suffering and include: ~ Public forums ~ SAVES Bulletin 3/year ~ SAVES Newsletters given to all Members of Parliament every sitting week, highlighting different areas of debate ~ Produce pamphlets to inform public debate.
