The Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) is a Commonwealth Government initiative. Volunteer visitors provide companionship to socially isolated residents living in aged care facilities. Volunteers and residents are matched based on interests, background and life experiences. The volunteer visitor is required to visit at least once per fortnight.
