The Headstone Project came into being with the sole purpose of ensuring that all our First World War veterans have their last resting place suitably marked in such a way that recognises their service.
We seek to locate the final resting places of WW1 soldiers, currently lying in unmarked graves. When found and service credentials verified, we erect a headstone and memorial plaque to honour the person's service to Australia.
