The Perkins researches diabetes, heart disease, rare genetic disorders and cancer, and in particular poor prognostic cancers which are relevant to Perth and worldwide. We are Perth's biggest medical research Institute, and rely heavily on community and corporate support for funding, as we do not receive recurrent state or federal govt funding.
