Avalon Community Library is a much appreciated local service for the Avalon area. It's staffed by 70 friendly volunteers and one paid staff member. These volunteers engage in all aspects of the tasks that ensure the smooth running of the library. Prospective volunteers need to be : Comfortable using computers. Good at working in a team. Prepared to focus on customer service. Be able to commit to a 4 hour, am or pm shift, on a fortnightly basis.
