Austin Health acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land upon which our various campuses are located, and pays its respects to Elders, past and present.? We engage volunteers in meaningful, safe roles that enhance the experience of Austin Health patients, their families, staff and our community. Volunteers are matched to volunteer programs according to their interests, availability, and the volunteer program and role requirements. Our volunteers perform in a range of roles including patient companionship, guide services, retail and fundraising, leisure and recreation activities and administration support. Austin Health has Volunteer programs at Austin Hospital, Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital, Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre, and the Diamond Creek Opportunity Shop.
