Nakuru Hope has been working in the Kaptembwo community in Nakuru, Kenya since 2008.
Today the Gabriel Learning Centre provides free education from pre-primary to Grade 9, and our students go on to senior high school, college, trade training and university.
We also have a girls’ and boys’ orphanage, a farm, a medical clinic and a community outreach program.
Back in Perth, the Hope Op Shop in Victoria Park is run entirely by volunteers, and it has been quietly funding this work for years.
We are an Australian registered charity, governed by a voluntary Australian board, with Public Benevolent Institution status and DGR1 endorsement.
