Boroondara Council provides services and programs to a diverse community. Through actions in the draft Boroondara Multicultural Action Plan 2019-23 Council will undertake the following actions: - engage and communicate effectively with all residents by taking into account the needs of individuals who are from a culturally and/or linguistically diverse background - plan and deliver services and programs that are culturally responsive to the needs of the community - work collaboratively with the community to reduce barriers experienced by residents from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds in accessing and participating in Council’s services and programs - support and encourage community connections and the celebration of cultural diversity
