We are part of the Men’s Sheds that exist all around Australia. Men’s Sheds provide a place where mainly retired men can go and enjoy the company of other men, undertake community projects, becoming involved in Shed activities. One of the main functions is to support each other in health by providing a platform where men are encouraged let others know what ails them. Our shed has a woodwork shop, a singing group, a camera club and an art group. We also have some members not necessarily in the retirement category, they might have a disability either mental or physical, indeed we also have some female members. Our shed has acted as mentors for youth.
