The Cairns Show stimulates the local economy in sales and services for local businesses and in visitor spending. All profits from the Show are applied to improvements and maintenance of the showground facility for the community of Cairns. This valuable community asset has been developed and is maintained at no cost to the Cairns community. This has been achieved through the voluntary committee and associated organisations giving of their time to complete most of the works.
