Night Eyes Water and Landcare Association Inc

Our primary aim is to maintain conservation in the Pumicestone Passage waterways and surrounding land areas to a condition where they are a cleaner, healthier and a safer place for all and to educate the users of our waterways of the importance of the careful disposal of rubbish and waste products. We are members of QWaLC. (Queensland Water and Landcare). Over a period of 19 years we have cleaned almost 60 tonnes of rubbish from local beaches and waterways. This is an on going service we offer with our group who are all volunteers. We offer training to our members in both water and land care Current Activities of Night Eyes Water and Landcare Association Inc: Our pontoon boat with a volunteer crew of about seven is on the water each week day from 7:30m to about 11:30am, as we clean our local waterways and foreshores. Our land based volunteers collect rubbish from the local foreshores, streets and parks at a time and day that personally suits our volunteers.
