The Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Volunteer Program (FSHVP) has been developed in line with our hospital’s guiding principle of being patient-centric, and it will complement the design of the hospital, which was constructed to have a healing and therapeutic effect on patients. The FSHVP will support the mission and values of WA Health while benefitting the local community and providing a meaningful and fulfilling role for volunteers. Commitment: delivering the best patient and staff experiences. Accountability: achieving the best clinical outcomes within available resources. Respect: treating patients and our team with dignity and being fair, just and ethical in all matters. Excellence: delivering the highest quality care and embracing opportunities to learn and improve. Our General Volunteers will operate in departments within the hospital based on their experience and/or interest. They will carry out a range of activities designed to support patients and their visitors during their stay at the hospital.
