The P&C is an integral part of the Spearwood School Community with a dedicated volunteer group working to support a number of initiatives. The main focus is fundraising for the school and we work closely with the Principal and staff to list priorities and then organise functions accordingly. These include: School Discos, Sausage Sizzles, Cake Stalls, Mothers’ Day and Fathers’ Day Stalls, Christmas and Easter Raffles. The P & C also runs a Breakfast Club in our P & C Room on Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 8.00am until the first siren of the morning. This is free to all children and they are encouraged to come and socialise, chat, laugh and enjoy a lovely breakfast of fruit, cereal, toast and milo drink before they start their day. Our children love this and go to class with a full tummy, ready and eager to learn. The teachers have noticed a positive difference. The Breakfast Club is run by parents in their own time and new volunteers are always welcome.
