The West Australian Symphony Orchestra (WASO) is a full time ensemble of 82 musicians based in Perth, WA. As the state's premier arts company the orchestra performs its major concerts in the exceptional acoustic of hte Perth Concert Hall. This venue is now managed by WASO since 1 Jan 2015. The orchestra also performs with the West Australian Ballet and Opera companies and has highly developed educational, regional, talent development and audience development programs. WASO involves 200 volunteers, within the chorus and philanthropic fundraising events.
