We are a volunteer run heritage orchard operating at Werribee Park Farm next to Werribee Mansion. We are an active group that has been working since 2010 to bring back the heritage orchard started by Thomas Chirnside in the mid 1800s. We are passionate about heritage variety fruit trees and getting them out in people's backyards, at small and startup orchards, schools, community gardens and anywhere fruit trees grow. Each year we await the fruit harvest season so we can catalogue and taste samples of the hundreds of varieties of apples, peaches/nectarines, apricots, plums, cherries, quince, pears and figs. We sell scion, budwood and ready grafted trees to the public via our website and (Covid-19 restrictions permitted) at twice per year Heritage Fruit Tree Festivals.
