Melbourne Art Foundation Ltd

Established in 2003, Melbourne Art Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation committed to servicing the needs of artists, galleries, collectors and the art loving public. It leads the way in building national and international audiences and markets for the work of Australia’s living contemporary artists, bringing together the commercial, social, cultural and environmental threads that underpin and sustain the vibrant Australian visual arts ecology. The Foundation produces the biennial Melbourne Art Fair. Melbourne Art Fair, Australasia’s most progressive forum for contemporary art and ideas, returns in the closing act of the Australian summer, 17-20 February 2022. Presented at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in South Wharf, the Fair will present new and iconic work from artists represented by 63 of the region’s most exciting galleries. With a focus on solo shows and works of scale and significance, experience a fair that is instrumental in shaping the future of art in the region. Exploring the theme of ‘Djeembana/Place’, the Fair’s 16th edition offers a sense of discovery through the work of emerging and iconic artists presented as part of a dynamic program of commissions, installations, video art, live performance, and conversations. melbourneartfair.com.au
