Peninsula Transport Assist is a community transport organisation. PTA coordinate a team of volunteer drivers who use their own vehicles to drive clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, hospital visits and social events. There are people in our community who can’t drive due to illness or circumstance. Peninsula Transport Assist helps them to get around. PTA have 12 and 25 seater buses available to hire to individuals, but also to a variety of community organisations such as schools, sports clubs and charities. This is a cheap alternative to taxis or commercially hired vehicles. Volunteer drivers can be provided at low cost.
